This short film is a portrait of a young Mongolian woman. As a child she came from Mongolia to Germany with great expectations. She lived with her mother in East Germany and experienced the hopelessness and high unemployment rate of a small town in Brandenburg.

Her mother first succeeded in securing herself and her daughter a life of dignity but later on she started drinking and became an alcoholic.

In the film we are following the protagonist’s story from the first bananas she has ever eaten in her life, the solidarity in eastern Germany, her drug experiences,, mass consumption and how she found the way back to herself in the prostitution milieu.
