Born in ex-Yugoslavia, Tatjana spent her childhood in Forst, a small town in Lusatia in the south-eastern part of Brandenburg in east Germany.

She worked as a freelancer in film and television projects and decided very early to walk the path of filmmakers.

As autodidact she made her directoral debut with her  film "A Mongolian girl with a bag full of happiness".

In the meantime she is celebrating her debut getting awards on many festivals and preparing her second documentary

„Kučkari“.
